LDA Communications is currently looking for an enthusiastic intern for a 3 month placement.

LDA is a full service agency, specialising in entertainment, celebrity, leisure and retail. LDA provides high-level day-to-day and strategic public relations for all of its clients. As well as the base line services of press attention and events, we have access to a vast database of contacts in all areas of print journalism, television, radio and digital media.

 

As a representative of our clients’ image and reputation, we know the importance of topicality and quick responses to changing situations and developments. We also devise and execute events and showcases.



As a small team we are looking for a friendly intelligent individual who will be confident in client meetings, dealing with media and talent, and working within the PR team. The right person will have a happy disposition and be able to cope with an occasionally high pressured environment with a mature and professional approach. Being a good communicator both verbally and in writing is a mandatory requirement for the successful candidate as they will be relied upon to work within the PR team and deal with the media and clients.

The role encompasses a broad range of tasks including assisting in devising of feature and campaign ideas, researching and monitoring competitor activity as well as general administrative duties. 

 

Requirements: 

Good written English
Good numeracy
Good attention to detail
Computer literacy, experience with Word, Office and Excel
Good knowledge of social media
An interest in entertainment and celebrity
Prior experience is a strong advantage but considerations will be made for passionate and eager to learn applicants
